A NOTE FROM THE ROGERS...

Hailing from Tennessee, the Rogers family first experienced Utah in 2013 when Matthew helped lead a youth mission trip to share the gospel with the LDS at the Mormon Miracle pageant in Manti. After Matthew led trips for two consecutive years, he introduced Utah to Kelly on an anniversary trip in 2015 where she, like Matthew, fell in love with the LDS people and the state. Two more mission trips and one more anniversary trip to Utah later, on yet another mission trip in 2021, they had been at Tri-Grace for only 20 minutes when God laid it on their hearts that He may be calling them to move to Ephraim and join TGM. After a family trip out that fall, God gave them confirmation they were supposed to be in Utah, so they quickly raised support, said goodbye to family and friends, and moved in late summer 2022. Matthew is now the Maintenance & IT Director and Kelly is the Finance Director. Both cover a barista shift or two each week in the coffeeshop ministry which provides opportunities to meet college students and other community members. In addition to his duties at Tri-Grace, Matthew felt like God was allowing him to move his video production business of 20 years to Utah. This has allowed him to shoot videos for the ministry while also making inroads in an industry with few Christians, in a state with even fewer Christians.

Matthew and Kelly have been blessed with TWO sets of twin girls, Amelie & Grace (2011) and Hope & Molly (2016) who Kelly homeschools. The Rogers love spending time outdoors, hiking, trail riding in their UTV, and biking. When it’s cold outside, they love to play games together and sit in front of the fire watching movies.
